Atlantic city haul: nail polish and other stuff

Some stuff I picked up on my trip. Picked up a nuance nail polish in prickly pear, a deep green. Essie in no more film, a deep purple, and i cant wait to wear this one. Also picked up a rimmel duochrome, not sure if this is new or a really old leftover, but thought it would be nice for fall. At the j crew outlet i picked up a sequin polka dot t. Picked  up a nude michael kors bag. At a thrift picked up the orange j crew sweater, I already have so many skirts that will go with this! Also picked up some pictures and a dog bed at a flea market, a shoe magazine, and last but probably my favorite, I picked up a bunch of fall harnesses for my dogs. These are soft and quilted, they really look like little doggie puffer vests when they're  on. So cute!

Atlantic city nails

Wanted to do something sparkly for my weekend in ac. I ended up doing one coat of opi pink friday, topped with 3 coats of studio m magic attraction. These pics were taken on the way home after a whole wekend of going out and even playing in the sand, it held up very well. On my toes is opi a grape fit ( I picked this up last time i was in ac, about 5 years ago, and wore it in honor of the occasion)

A couple of j crew inspired manis

Here are two manis inspired by j crew looks I loved. The light blue with white stripes and butterfly decals is inspired by the monarch tippi sweater. The other is inspired by the punk floral top paired with seersucker shorts. I'm not usually into nail art designs, but I was pleased with how these turned out. I got the butterfly and punk floral bug out of my system, and it was much cheaper than buying the real thing!

China glaze don't be a luna-tic

Picked this up at tjmaxx for around $3. Light blue holo, but it photographs more on the silver side.

Salon perfect starlet

Picked this one up at walmart, i think it's a new collection, but it didn't have it's own display, they were actually stuffed in a sally hansen endcap. So if you're looking for it you may have to do some searching. I was hoping it would be similar to opi ds glamour, but the holo falls kinda flat. It's a pretty denim color but it lacks the depth that most holos have, not sure how the rest of the colors in this collection compare, but this is definitely not a must have.

Small haul

Did a small haul this weekend, hit up big lots first and picked up a 2 pack of scented revlon polishes. Colors/  scents are bubble gum (on left) pretty in papaya (on right). Next up was christmas tree shoppes. They had bins of clearance polishes and i dug through and found revlon colorstay blue slate, marked down to $1.78. I had a $2 coupon= Free!  I didn't want to let the extra savings go to waste so i picked up wet n wild seeing stars, a clear with silver hologram glitter, it'll be great for the holidays!

Sally hansen loden green

This is a new fall color from the prabal gurung sally hansen fall 2013 collection. I liked this one alot more than i thought i would. I wasnt sure how it would look on my skin tone, i was kinda afraid it would end up looking like doo, lol. Pleasantly surprised with how well it compliments my fair skin!
