When I picked up the new sally hansen triple shine seanic over the weekend, I couldn't wait to try it. I chose orly lucky duck as the base color and topped it with 3 coats of seanic. I seriously could not stop looking at my nails all weekend. This is so sparkly it glows!

A small weekend haul
Made a couple of polish purchases this weekend. Picked up two sally hansen triple shines: dream sequins a copper glitter, and seanic a green glitter. Also picked up a new shiny topcoat. I found this in the new sh nail art display, and it was almost impossible to pass up on the nail pens, but I put them on my christmas wishlist and I'll wait to see what santa brings! The last purchase was julie g mistletoe, it's a christmas green texture polish.

J crew excursion vest diy
A non-nail related diy for you, my diy excursion vest. I had been obsessing over this vest, I even got on the waiting list for the factory version this fall, but things didn't work out and my order got cancelled. I know it's only a vest, but I was still bummed. When walmart released a version I stalked the site everday until it was finally in stock. I ordered a small which normally would have been fine, but the sizing on this vest was way off. I figured that for $15 I would just try taking it in myself. I slimmed the sides and added trim. My vest still came in under $20, compared to the $100 or so j crew version.

A couple of revlon parfumeries
Here are the two revlon parfumeries I picked up recently. I'll start with spun sugar because that was my favorite of the two. It's a burnt silvery chrome, with a sweet smell. It applied nicely, no streaking, and the scent is sweet and not overpowering. Next is wintermint. This one smells nice and minty, which is the only thing I liked about it. It looks like a hot mess on me . It looked gritty and overall it just wasn't my thing.
Look of the day
Today I had some extra time to coordinate my mani pedi to my outfit. I wanted to try the whole j crew sweatshirt with a dressier outfit trend, so I picked up this super thin sweatshirt at the thrift store last week, and paired it with a navy pencil skirt. My pedi is sally hansen barracuda. The mani is essie naughty nautical topped with sally hansen mermaid's tale.

A few teal manis
Here are a couple of teal manis I've done.
1- essie naughty nautical with essie bikini so teeny stripes. For the striped nails I first painted them with essie bikini so teeny, then I put striping tape on them, then I applied nauhty nautical and peeled the tape off while the nail was still wet.
2 & 3- Wet n wild tahitian pearl, in indoor lighting and by a window in sunlight.
4- This is a mardi gras brand polish I picked up in a rite aid display, it has no name.
5- Sinful colors open seas

A weekend haul
Here's a small weekend haul I made. The revlon parfumeries finally made their way to my walmart, so I used two revlon $1.00 off coupons I'd been hanging on to. I picked up wintermint and spun sugar for around $4.00 a piece after the coupons. Walmart also started putting out their chrismas gift sets so I picked up a hard candy ombre set for $4.88. The picture on the packaging is misleading, these are not glitters, the caps are the only thing that is glittery. They also had a couple of other sets and colorways. Finally I stopped by dollar tree and picked up a couple of packs of dashing diva nail appliques.
